Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Today I received some beautiful flowers from my students- thank you so much! Below are some pictures our class created of all the teachers who help our class each day- Mr. K (P.E.), Mrs. Gordon (music), Ms. Booth (guidance), Mrs. Hardesty (librarian), Mrs. Law (gifted), Mrs Carroll (computer), and of course Mrs. Gabriel and Mrs. Greene (our assistants). 

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

On Thursday, Mrs. Law read The Very Hungry Caterpillar to the class and we brainstormed different things that someone could eat and what they would turn into.  Later we watched the story Gregory the Terrible Eater and Little Pea.  Both books tell funny stories about odd things to eat.  Today in the computer lab we created a sequence project that showed off our creative thinking by imagining someone eating a variety of things and what they could turn into.  Below are some examples of what we did in computer lab.

Our Virtual Field Trip

Today we had a virtual field trip about the sun.  The students loved talking to someone who works in NASA. 

Meeting the Class of 2023
